I love this original Rhythm Dance to the Pet Shop Boys, with unisex matching costumes, really evoking the #80s era stylishly as I remember it! Cruelly underscored at 57.26 (33.10 24.16) to be in 7th place of the 10 couples competing from Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary, who combine to hold their National Championships, this year hosted by the Czech Republic. Good Luck for the Free Dance tomorrow, and hopefully Lucy & Ilias can move up a place or two. Put it this way, we heard Bonnie singing "Turn Around.....Bright Eyes" several times this evening. I wish Judges would mark originality and capturing the feeling and essence of the 80s, which this routine does successfully. They could be dancing at the Blitz Club in Camden, not skating on ice.

#LucyandIlias scored 90.26 (52.46 37.80) for a Total 151.04 to place 2nd in the Free Dance, and win the Silver Medals! Their first International Ice Dance Medals as a couple! Congratulations! They skated really well to a Depeche Mode Medley, with a dramatic Solo Sliding Element by Lucy wearing a stylish costume. She has a new shorter hairstyle this season too. This was their 3rd competition of the season. Though skating for Hungary, Ilias was born in New York and Lucy was born in Yorkshire, and is a former Novice Solo Dance Champion and Advanced Novice Ice Dance Champion, and Junior Dance Medalist in Britain.

Lucy & Ilias travelled from the Czech Republic last weekend to Poland this, with former Polish ice dancer Sylwia Nowak in the Kiss & Cry with them. Their performance was not as clean or smooth as last week, hence the drop in score to 54.20 (30.99 23.21) to be 17th of 21 couples. Come out and smash the Free Dance tomorrow!

Lucy & Ilias skated well to be 7th in the FD and Overall at the Four Nationals Championships in Budapest today. Their Free Dance shows off Lucy's flexibility and musicality. In the K&C with Coach Denis Petukov, they train in New York. They've had a good debut season together, Lucy's first in Senior. #LucyandIlias placed 6th in today's Free Dance in Almaty but finished 5th Overall in their best event of the season so far. They were assisted by Marina Zoueva in place of Dennis Petukhov.

#LucyandIlias skated very well to place 5th of 9 couples and score a Personal Best of their debut season together. Lucy was back in her coloutful catsuit after wearing a dress at their previous event, but received a 1.00 deduction for Costume Failure/Violation! Yet they haven't been penalised in 3 previous competitions? Anyway it didn't affect the result. Good Luck for the Free Dance.
